Annual Conference

Dear Colleagues:

Greetings fellow colleagues and welcome to the 2014 CASE-Kentucky Conference! The Kentucky Chapter of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education is one of the first state chapters with a long history of planning and implementing an annual conference. We hope you view this conference as a way to exchange ideas, network with fellow colleagues and leave re-energized to serve your respective institutions in our Commonwealth.

As professionals within the disciplines of Advancement, we are here to serve our constituents with the best that we can provide for them to enhance their experiences. Professional development opportunities allow us to keep pace with our peers and maintain effective communication with our constituents since they are the reason we do what we do.

This year's conference theme, "Call to the Post," ties Kentucky's rich equine history to our post in higher education. Whether working with students, alumni, donors or the campus community, we are institutional ambassadors making valuable impressions. Please take advantage of the opportunity to learn from your colleagues over the course of the conference. A shared experience or an encouraging word from someone who has been in your shoes can help you gallop across the finish line in this profession.

The committee has worked hard to bring you a full schedule of professional development, networking opportunities and fun! We hope you will enjoy two special presentations from leaders in the equine industry on Thursday along with the happy hour prior to dinner on your own with colleagues. Our conference will conclude with a special "Winner's Circle" recognition of awards at Friday's final luncheon. Saddle up and enjoy these special two days with fellow CASE-Kentucky Colleagues.

Sincerely,

Jill H. Smith '05/'11
