The conference planning team weighed multiple options for a conference theme and in the end we all felt that this truly represented the essence of what we wanted to deliver.
In our minds, ingenuity is the crossroads of intelligence and creativity. It is a strong word and a powerful concept. The conference committee has been hard at work creating an experience that will allow you to grow as a professional; and in-turn, strengthen our institutions and the students we serve.
Budgets are tight everywhere and professional development dollars are hard to come by. We know that and we have responded. The district conference remains the most efficient use of limited resources, and with the group rate beginning with only three members from an institution, it is a bargain.
We have tweaked the program this year to make it possible to get even more out of your time at the conference. At Ingenuity you will find four track sessions per day (instead of three); and a new lunch program, Birds of a Feather, that will allow you wonderful networking opportunities with individuals with similar backgrounds.
One more thing to consider - we are going to be in sunny Tampa for the first time. Think about Tampa, in February…
We look forward to seeing you in Tampa, February 21-24. Naturally, if you have any questions please feel free to contact us at anytime.
