Putting on the best conference for the best District in CASE is a lot of work, but it's also a lot of fun!  You can help, and in the process you'll meet countless people and have a great time. Here are some ways you can get involved:

Mentor a new professional.

Remember when you were just starting out in advancement?  Was there someone who took an early interest in your career and helped you get to where you are today?  Here's your opportunity to make a difference for someone in the position you were once in.  Volunteer to be a mentor to a new advancement professional during the conference.  All you need to do is spend some time sharing your wisdom and advice.  Share a meal, sit together at a session, or meet for coffee.  The interaction will likely be as rewarding for you as it is for your mentee.  If you have mentored before, we have some exciting changes in store for this year's program.  Not only will there be an event held to help mentors connect with their mentees, but participants will also have an opportunity to meet with a number of the keynote speakers in a special setting.

For questions, or to volunteer, e-mail Tami Gardner at University of Georgia or call Tami at (706) 542-0080.

Take a ride on the Welcome Wagon.

Stop by the Hospitality Booth near Registration to learn about all Tampa has to offer. From info on the area to great dining suggestions, we've got you covered! You can also stop by to pick up/drop off a message, ask us Conference questions, check the lost-and-found and on and on. This is also a great volunteer opportunity.

For more information on providing a little hospitality of your own, e-mail Adrienne Garcia at Hillsborough Community College or Davina Gould at Stetson University College of Law.

Be the hostess with the mostest! (Or host with the most!)

Hundreds of volunteers are needed to serve as Session Moderators during the 2010 CASE III District Conference. You will introduce and thank the speaker, keep the session on track, and make sure everything is running smoothly in the room. This is a great way to start getting involved with CASE III while attending the conference.

Interested in volunteering? E-mail Joella Hricik or Chris Clark-Talley with your preferred day, time, and area of interest.

Roll out the Welcome Mat!

The South is known for friendly folks ... Be among the first friendly faces that your colleagues see when they arrive by volunteering with Registration. They say that first impressions are everything, and Registration is the front door to the Ingenuity experience. Trust us; this is where the excitement is! (And don't worry, we'll train you.)

For more information on staffing the Registration Desk, e-mail Jessica Coleman Hastings or Beth Stamps.

Show the world you can communicate.

The CASE 3 Literature Exchange is where everyone goes for inspiration...and to pick up alumni magazines, recruitment DVDs, case statements, posters, calendars, invitations and other pieces of brilliant communications. Bring 50 or so copies of your communications with you to Tampa. Better yet, ship them ahead of time to: Exhibit Services, ATTN: CASE III Conference, 1814 Tappan Blvd., Tampa, FL 33619.  Consider it your opportunity to show off how ingenious your work is!

Questions?  E-mail Jeff Snow.
