Emerging Leaders Scholarship

This scholarship is designed specifically to assist emerging leaders working full time at a CASE District III member institution by waiving full conference registration fees, the Emerging Leader preconference workshop costs and providing reimbursement of up to $500 in receipted travel expenses.

The scholarship is not transferable to other individuals and is applicable for use only in the year awarded. The recipient, or the recipient’s institution, must be prepared to fund any travel expenses that exceed the approved scholarship reimbursement.

Eligibility

For the purposes of this scholarship, CASE District III seeks individuals with at least five years of experience who are serving in a supervisory or management role and aspire to become a leader in advancement (alumni relations, philanthropy, advancement services, communications, etc.).
Applicants must be able to attend the entire CASE District III annual conference. Previous recipients of CASE District III scholarships are not eligible. Previous winners of CASE national scholarships are welcome to apply.

Minority Advancement Professionals Scholarship

This scholarship is designed specifically to assist minority advancement professionals working full time at a CASE District III member institution by waiving full conference registration fees, the Opportunity and Inclusion Luncheon fees and providing reimbursement of up to $500 in receipted travel expenses.

The scholarship is not transferable to other individuals and is applicable for use only in the year awarded. The recipient, or the recipient’s institution, must be prepared to fund any travel expenses that exceed the approved scholarship reimbursement.

Eligibility

For the purposes of this scholarship, CASE District III seeks individuals from underrepresented ethnic groups.
Applicants must be able to attend the entire CASE District III annual conference and the Opportunity and Inclusion Luncheon.Previous recipients of CASE District III scholarships are not eligible. Previous winners of CASE national scholarships are welcome to apply.

Newcomer Scholarship

Newcomer scholarships are designed specifically to assist professionals with less than three years of advancement experience by waiving full conference registration fees, the Newcomer preconference workshop costs and providing reimbursement of up to $500 in receipted travel expenses. The scholarship is not transferable to other individuals and is applicable for use only in the year awarded. The recipient, or the recipient’s institution, must be prepared to fund any travel expenses that exceed the approved scholarship reimbursement.

Eligibility

For the purposes of this scholarship, CASE District III defines a new professional as any full-time professional with less than three years experience in alumni relations, communications, advancement services or fundraising; or any full-time professional who has moved into a new professional area within the past three years (for example, from alumni relations to fundraising). Applicants must be able to attend the entire CASE District III annual conference and the Newcomer pre-conference workshop. Previous recipients of CASE District III scholarships are not eligible. Previous winners of CASE national scholarships are welcome to apply.

Student Delegate Scholarship

CASE District III welcomes and encourages the participation of current undergraduate and graduate students in the district conference. The district will provide the selected students the opportunity to attend the conference as student delegates by waiving full conference registration fees, the Newcomer pre-conference workshop costs and providing reimbursement of up to $500 in receipted travel expenses.

The scholarship is not transferable to other individuals and is applicable for use only in the year awarded. The recipient, or the recipient’s institution, must be prepared to fund any travel expenses that exceed the approved scholarship reimbursement.

Eligibility

Applicants must be juniors, seniors or graduate students who are currently enrolled in a CASE District III member institution and are interested in pursuing a career in institutional advancement.Applicants must be part-time employees or volunteers in institutional advancement at a CASE member institution.Applicants must be able to attend the entire CASE District III annual conference and the Newcomer pre-conference workshop.Previous recipients of CASE District III scholarships are not eligible. Previous winners of CASE national scholarships are welcome to apply.
